My art reflects my faith in imagination and intuition, and my desire to explore and communicate the profound beauty of our world and the human experience. Through painting, my ideas and visions become tangible, providing a language to share, encourage, inspire, and uplift.

My paintings are not pre-planned. Each piece evolves as though it were a conversation between old friends... sometimes lighthearted and joyful, sometimes contentious or troubling. This spontaneity allows each painting to reflect the singular character of the special moments in which it was created.


WHAT'S NEW
New for 2010...there are lots of opportunities to see my work in the next few months! Once again I will have a solo show at Framed Image in Denver from March 17 through the end of April. I also have work at Framed Image in the "Mostly Red" show that is hanging now. I am also participating in the Women's History Month show that opens on February 21 at the Cultural Arts Council Gallery in Estes Park, Colorado.
The Morgan Adams Foundation has honored me by using my painting "Ritual" on the cover of the auction catalog for their 2010 "artma" event in Denver on February 6th!
